Vianen, June 13, 2024 - Avit, network integrator and managed security services provider, is joining forces with HackShield, an innovative educational game. The goal? To create a more cyber-secure world, starting with the youngest generations. This three-year partnership aims to actively engage elementary school children, ages 8 to 12, in cyber education through the "cyberteacher of the day" program, where guest lectures are given by Avit employees.

New generation of 'cyber agents'

The "cyberteacher of the day" program includes interactive guest lectures in elementary schools, where Avit employees use the HackShield game to introduce children to the opportunities and risks of the digital world. The game is designed to encourage children's participation and addresses various topics relevant to their online safety.

An essential part of the partnership is the goal of training children to become "cyberagents," who not only understand their own online security, but so share their knowledge with family and friends. This is achieved through the HackShield game, which is available worldwide and has already trained over 193,000 junior cyberagents in the Netherlands.
