Avit.Protected.
Last Saturday, May 9, Avit was all about digital security and fun during our Avit.Protected. event in Vianen, organized in collaboration with HackShield as part of Almere.Protected.
HackShield is an educational platform and game that teaches kids how to be safe and smart in the digital world. Through interactive missions and challenges, they discover topics such as privacy, phishing and online behavior.
For this occasion, our employees had brought (their) children between the ages of 7 and 13 so they could be trained to become real Cyber Agents!
The day began with a dynamic guest lecture by Max Roest of HackShield. For our colleagues useful to see how they can start giving guest lessons as "teacher for a day" at primary schools. For the children a nice moment to get interactively acquainted with the game. After this, the children enthusiastically set to work themselves.
In a fun competition setting they worked their way through various levels. Fanatical, smart and full of energy, they showed that they are the talent of the future when it comes to digital resilience.
Avit is actively committed to working with partners in Almere to teach young people digital skills in a fun and accessible way.
Almere.Protected. aims to gradually make online safety part of education. Read more on our website about this initiative: almere.protected.
