Avit Appoints Hamid Abedini as Managing Director Netherlands
Vianen, February 15, 2024 – Avit, a network integrator, and managed services provider, appoints Hamid Abedini as the Managing Director of Avit Netherlands. With this appointment, the company aims to strengthen its focus on growth, efficiency, and social responsibility. Abedini brings extensive experience within Avit, having served in various roles since 2012 and, until now, as the Chief Commercial Officer.
In his role as Managing Director, Abedini will focus on realizing the growth ambitions of Avit Netherlands. The organization has experienced impressive growth in recent years, and Abedini aims to continue this positive trend. Ronald Kraanen will remain involved as the executive director on the board of Springboard Network BV, the holding company that includes Avit. Ronald will primarily focus on further expansion in Europe with Springboard Network.
Growth, efficiency, and ESG
In addition to driving growth, Abedini will take strategic steps to increase efficiency. Together with the management team, he will focus on further developing Avit as a secure managed services provider in the coming period. The management team consists of Thuur Tonnaer (Sales and Marketing), Robert van Zanten (Operations), Henk Jan Kok (Projects and IT), and Nadeche Goeree (Finance).
Another topic of strategic importance for Abedini is corporate social responsibility. Avit has integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) within the organization. In the coming years, good employment practices, a sustainable portfolio, and a positive societal impact will have a significant place on the MT's agenda.
