Vianen- Epson chooses the Managed SD-WAN solution of System Integrator and Managed Service Provider Avit Group. The partnership between both organizations is strengthened with the addition of this new service. Avit will provide Managed SD-WAN for the next 3 years. This move ensures that Epson saves costs with a future-proof and scalable solution, connects new locations easier and faster, and gets a more reliable network. By outsourcing the management via Managed Services, Epson can focus on its core business.

LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP

After a successful proof-of-concept with the SD-WAN technology, Epson went looking for the right partner. Important criteria were knowledge of the technology and the business of Epson and a partner who can deliver a managed service for all aspects. In Avit, Epson found this partner, partly based on the previous successful cooperation around the delivery of a Cisco Collaboration solution and Cisco hardware. Over the past year, in preparation of the Managed SD-WAN solution, Avit has worked with Epson to start replacing the MPLS connections.
