Our sales team based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark is an experienced, collaborative and highly successful team. As an organization we are ambitious and always working to challenge and improve ourselves. For our new office in the Lisbon area, we are currently looking for an Account Manager to get traction in Portugal. Together with the Sales Country Manager you will responsible of getting new customers in and further build on existing customers in the PALOPs. 



THIS IS WAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO

As an Account Manager, customers are number 1 and you know better than anyone how to convert the wishes and requirements of the customer into commercial opportunities. You are likely to work in new territories ranging from EMEA, to America´s. Travelling is a must, but in the current global situation you can work independently, remotely, and dedicatedly.

 

As a trusted advisor to existing and new customers, you strive for a good relationship on multiple levels and you can fully empathize with the business and needs of the customer, so that you can give appropriate advice. You work closely with our specialist and innovation teams and together you develop clients in the field of Enterprise Networking, Integrated Cybersecurity, Collaboration & Workspace, Application Integration and (Managed) Services. You will have the lead in this.

 

We work together with our main partners Cisco and Microsoft. It is important to maintain good relationships with these partners and also to have knowledge of NetApp, Cloud and Connectivity services.

THIS IS YOU

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree and/or a bachelor’s way of thinking with a commercial or business background;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • You are flexible in your work, work location (travel) and are capable and able of working from any location. You base will be the Lisbon area;
  • You like doing new business and know how to close deals;
  • You have a good dose of humor, enthusiasm, curiosity and a sense of responsibility;
  • You are able to work independently but also a team player, with a can-do attitude and hands-on mentality;
  • You are organized, inventive, positive and passionate;
  • You are able to listen actively and ask the right questions;
  • You are a born networker and able to build and maintain sustainable relationships at different levels;
  • You are commercially driven and result-oriented;
  • You have international experience and/or used to work for international companies;
  • We find it important to have experience with our solutions;
  • Having knowledge and experience in selling Cisco solutions and (Managed) Services is an advantage.


We are an agile organization with more than 270 employees and locations in Emmeloord (Netherlands), ’t Harde (Netherlands), Vianen (Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium), Edison (USA), Manila (Philippines), Søborg (Denmark), Luanda ( Angola ) and Porto Salvo (Portugal) with more locations to be announced soon.
