Vianen, October 1, 2024 – Springboard Network, a European network of Cisco specialists, has acquired the German IT company system.de. With this strategic acquisition, Springboard solidifies its position in Europe and lays the foundation for further growth in Germany, Europe's largest IT market. Earlier this month, Springboard Network also announced the acquisition of Friday Networks in Norway, expanding the network into multiple markets.
System.de is renowned as an expert in Cisco solutions. Celebrating its 30th anniversary on November 8th, the company has built a strong reputation over the years by delivering high-quality services to large institutions. With this acquisition, Springboard strengthens its knowledge base and expands its pool of certified engineers. The goal is to achieve Cisco Gold Partner status as soon as possible, a status that the company is already close to attaining.
"We are delighted to welcome system.de to the Springboard family," says Kåre Christensen, CEO of Springboard Network. "Their extensive technical expertise and focus on Cisco solutions align perfectly with our vision. As with our previous acquisitions of Friday Networks, Avit Group, and Wingmen Solutions, we share a common goal: delivering high-quality Cisco solutions."
"We are excited to work more closely with Springboard Network," says Peter Schulte, CEO of system.de. "Since the acquisition of the company in 2018 and the transformation into a Managed Service Provider for critical network projects, becoming part of Springboard Network has been crucial for our growth. It integrates us with trusted partners such as Wingmen Solutions, Friday Networks, and Avit, enhancing our resources and services in an evolving IT landscape. Importantly, Springboard shares our values, and through our Cisco Net Academy, we can further develop Cisco training and certifications within the group."
With a focus on highly skilled consultants and a proven track record in the German IT landscape, system.de provides Springboard with the local expertise needed to continue its expansion in Germany. This acquisition positions Springboard to increase its presence throughout Europe, starting with a strong foothold in Germany.
"This is just the first step," says Christensen. "We see Germany as crucial to our long-term strategy and look forward to continuing the strong tradition of system.de while expanding our reach across the country."
The timing of the acquisition is significant, as system.de is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Berlin on November 8th with a large customer event. The company's decades of experience and strong customer relationships in Germany will provide Springboard with a trusted local partner as it drives its growth.
