PARTNER OF THE YEAR NORTHERN EUROPE

All the countries propose their Partner of the Year for their region, i.e. Northern Europe for Cisco Netherlands. Of all 2,200 partners in the region, Avit has been the most prominent partner this year, also due to a change of strategy. In the last years, Avit transformed into a Managed Service Provider. By doing so, the organization offers a solution to the increased demand for managed services. Moreover, Networking, Security and Collaboration are currently the major technology drives for an organization to succeed. Finally, the present market conditions speeded things up even more strongly. As a result, an unprecedented growth in sales for Avit and recognition by Cisco Netherlands and Cisco for the Northern Europe region.

FOCUS ON MANAGED SERVICES IN ENTERPRISE NETWORKING

These last years, Avit strongly developed into a Managed Service Provider in the field of Enterprise Networking. This strategy with even more focus on Customer Experience enhances long-lasting customer relationships. Late 2019, Avit was assigned the Cisco Master Enterprise Networking specialization, by which the organization also became part of a select group of international Cisco partners. This year, investments were made in particular in Intent-based Networking, SD-WAN, Cyber security, Collaboration and Software Integration. The mixture of these technologies combined with an emphasis on adoption and collaboration has lately been critical to safely and expediently facilitate working from home both on a national and international scale.

Daan de Groot, Head of Partner Organization Cisco Netherlands: “That transformation and performance go hand in hand has been proven by Avit this year. The growth they evidenced once more was combined with innovation in typical strategic fields for Cisco: software development, integration, development of services and certification regarding Customer Experience. With an unbelievably strong growth both as to products and software, this partner outnumbers the others by far. We are convinced that in the years to come Avit will also add value to the business of our joint customers.”

Ronald Kraanen, CEO at Avit Group: “We are incredibly proud of this Partner of the Year award of Cisco Netherlands and Cisco Northern Europe. The more so, since the second semester of this Cisco book year coincided with the most challenging global market conditions imaginable (COVID-19), in any case of this last decade. Being a Cisco Gold and Master partner, Avit effected a sales growth of over 70% from Cisco solutions. Recognition as the most successful Cisco Gold and Master partner of Cisco in the Netherlands and Northern Europe therefore is a very important and honorable recognition of the entire company. The award shows that, as a team, we invest in the right technologies and markets. This is a strong signal towards the market and shows that we add value to the business of our customers by solving their challenges in the IT-field.”
